Hi, I’m Michele. I do a little bit of everything at New Westside Terrace. Sometimes you may find me greeting people or answering the phone, or I may in the the dining room serving lunch, but wherever I am, it’s my privilege to serve our Administrator and our residents at New Westside Terrace. Hi, I’m Mariisa. I have worked for Bond Apartments Longview WA since I was a teenager. I became administrator of Somerset Retirement Home and Assisted Living when I was 23 years old, and I am the Alternate Administrator for New Westside Terrace Retirement Home and Assisted Living. I am currently 33 years old. I enjoy traveling and lived several years in Japan as a college student and JET teacher. My husband and I are have two beautiful little girls. Each fall, my family and I enjoy traveling to Mexico for visits with my husband’s family. I enjoy helping my father, Charles Bond Sr, with his challenging projects at Bond Apartments Longview WA.


Vera, Registered Nurse
Hi, I’m Vera. I was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota to a family of five girls. I have an identical twin sister, Vicki, who is also a nurse. I spent my childhood in Minnesota and North Dakota, and then moved to Walla Walla, Washington during my high school years. My nursing career has included working in hospitals, traveling as a nurse for Community Home Health and Hospice, and teaching educational classes for Elder Options. For ten years, from 1997-2006, I worked across the street from Somerset at Westgate Terrace Apartments as their service coordinator. My husband and I reside in Longview WA with our dog, Barney, and our cat, Penny. My hobbies are golfing (any chance I get) and traveling (anywhere and anytime someone says let’s go!). I enjoy working with seniors.

I was was born in St. Helens OR and grew up in Rainer OR, just across the Columbia river. My husband and I met and married when I was 19. We are proud parents of twin boys and a daughter. We now have 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I love sewing, baking, and cake decorating. I have made cakes for several weddings and baby showers that have taken place at Somerset and New Westside Terrace over the years. I have been part of the Bond Apartments Longview WA family since 1998. I helped get the New Westside Terrace kitchen open and running.
